RWA1690-3 2.3 Short block with 5.2" K1 rods and Wiseco pistons. We use Wiseco forged pistons RWA1561, Total Seal classic rings RWA1569 and Mahle/M77 rod bearings RWA1518 and Mahle/M77 main bearings RWA1526. RWA1691 2.3 Tall deck block is similar to the old Ford Motorsport M-6010-B230 block. This particular block needs to be used with an external style oil pump, the oil pump mating surface has a machining flaw and will not allow a stock style oil pump to be used. These are stronger than stock, they are cast with higher grade iron. RWA1690-8 2.3 Turbo short block is assembled using a reconditioned stock block. We bore the block to the minimum that is needed to clean up: .020, .030 or .040. Specify what over bore you would like and we will see if we can accommodate your request. Please call or email ahead of time before ordering to see what kind of time frame we are working on . The short blocks include:- Stock 2300 block
- Stock 5.2" Ford rods w/ ARP rod bolts
- Forged Wiseco pistons
- Total Seal "classic" file fit rings (gapless rings are available)
- We use either King, ACL or Sealed Power bearings
