Pistons

RWA 1556 pistons are a dished top design with valve reliefs. These pistons are designed to use the stock 5.2″ 2.3 rod length with .912″ diameter pins. The pistons are designed to use full floating pins. If using stock rods, the rod will need to have bushings installed in the small end. If using aftermarket rods (RWA1671B) they should already have bushings installed in the small end. Our RWA 1556 pistons are manufactured by Wiseco using 4032 low expansion alloy. These forged pistons are a great choice for street or racing applications. Our pistons come with rings, pins and pin locks. We stock .030″ and .040″ overbore sizes. If you need STD, .020″ or .060″, they can be special ordered, give 3-4 weeks for delivery.
