Valve Train

  • RWA 1509 ballstud adjuster nut. This is the same nut that comes in the RWA 1488 and RWA 1489 mechanical lash adjuster sets.
  • RWA 1507 Ballstud for the 2.0 Pinto cylinder head or for the 2.3 cylinder head that has been converted to mechanical cam. This is the same ballstud that comes in the RWA 1488 and RWA 1489 mechanical lash adjuster kits. These are hardened steel and longer than the stock ballstud.

  • RWA 1478 cutting tool is used for setting the valve spring installed height (especially when using high lift cams) and can be used to mill the lifter bores down (2.3's) when installing our RWA 1489 type B lash adjusters. Please specify either 2.0 or 2.3 when ordering, they require different center mandrels.
  • The RWA1785 Valve spring compressor/adjuster tool is a new design to an old tool. The three piece kit comes with the valve spring compressor (with swivel handle) that enables you to compress the valve spring with the head on the engine and with two lash adjusting wrenches that are designed to use with the stock size 15mm ballstud and 19mm nut. The three pieces are made out of Weldox 700 high strength steel with the compressor handle being made out of stainless steel. This set would be great addition to your race tool box.

  • RWA1497 1.60" 2.3 Exhaust Valve is .100" longer than a stock valve and is designed to work with high lift small base circle camshafts. These valves have excellent flow characteristics —especially at lower lift— and lighter overall weight for higher RPM capabilities make these an superb choice for high performance engines. Attributes include chrome stems, stellite tips and swirl polishing. They're great for improving the flow of stock heads.    
  • RWA2497 1.60" Exhaust valve is .100" longer than a stock valve and is designed to use with large lift small base circle camshafts. These valves are manufactured using a two-step slow forging process using EV8 stainless steel on both intake and exhaust valves. The valves have a special heat-treatment and stress relieving process, along with hard chrome stems and friction-welded hard tips. The Valve is finished with a swirl polished head. The valves feature flow improvements to deliver the power needed for today’s sophisticated racing engines.

  • RWA 1499 is a one piece swirl polished stainless steel replacement valve. These have the stock dimensions. 4.760" overall length .340" tip length 1.50" head diameter
  • RWA1486 Hydraulic Lifters are a stock replacement style lifter. These lifters are stock dimensions, do not require any machining of head, and are drop in style. A good idea for all Hydraulic 2.3 engines. The lifters are really designed with a 7200 rpm Rev Limit, but we have all revved them higher...  The higher you rev them, you increase the chances of the tops popping off. Come in a set of 8pcs.
  • RWA1492 2.3 "Cheater" 1.89" Intake Valve is a one piece stainless steel swirl polished valve. This valve is stock length (4.760") with a stock tip length (.340").
  • RWA 1496 1.89" Intake valve is designed as a replacement for the RWA 1492 "cheater" valve, when you change to a mechanical camshaft that has a small base circle. This valve is .100" longer than stock BUT only has a .400" tip and will NOT work with roller camshafts. The valve needs a longer (.470"-.500")tip length work with roller cams. If you are running a roller camshaft, use our RWA 1126.
  • RWA 1126 is a one piece swirl polished stainless steel valve. Manufactured with a  two-step slow forging process using EV8 stainless steel. A special heat-treatment and stress relieving process is used, along with hard chrome stems and friction-welded hard tips. The valve is  finished with a swirl polished head and feature flow improvements to help deliver the power to get you in the winners circle.
