These pistons are a excellent replacement for the stock piston. The pistons are a full floating pin design, so the rods that are going to be used will need to have the small end bushed. These forged aluminum pistons are made by Wiseco exclusively for us. We stock .030", .040" and .060". -
The use of longer rods to increase torque and power is not a new speed secret. The advantages of running a longer rod are: shorter and lighter pistons, better rod angle. RWA1565 2.0 piston ring set is manufacture by Total Seal. These are the "classic" style that are file fit, not to be confused with the Total Seal "gapless" ring set. We also offer the gapless rings RWA1566. Classic race sets feature Ductile plasma moly top rings, conventional reverse torsional taper face 2nd rings and flex vent style 3 piece oil rings. We supply the rings with a .005" oversize to facilitate proper ring end gap.
